Varnish in Hosting
If you host your Internet sites under a hosting account with us, you will be able to activate Varnish with a couple of mouse clicks via your Control Panel. The platform comes as an upgrade with all our plans and you can choose how many websites will use it and the total storage space that will be used for the cached data. The two upgradeable features in the Control Panel’s Upgrades section are the amount of system memory and the number of instances and they are not directly tied to each other, so you can choose whether you want plenty of memory for one large-sized website or less memory for several smaller ones. You can use the full potential of Varnish in case the sites use a dedicated IP address. With the Control Panel, you can swiftly start/restart/disable an instance, delete the cached contents individually for each site that uses Varnish or check a detailed log.
Varnish in Semi-dedicated Servers
Varnish is a feature, which is included by default with all Linux semi-dedicated servers offered by us and you can use it for workload balancing purposes. It’s available in your Hepsia Control Panel. The Varnish content caching platform comes with 64 MB of system memory for cached content storing purposes and you can use it with any site that you host in the semi-dedicated account. If you are in need of more, you can increase the memory allowance. The memory itself is offered in increments of 32 MB through the Control Panel’s Upgrades section. The same Upgrades section will enable you to create more instances too, in case you want to use Varnish with multiple sites. The two upgrades can be added separately – you can cache the content of one single large-size Internet site or use several different Internet sites with the default memory allowance. You can take full advantage of the Varnish caching platform if you’ve got a dedicated IP and you can get one with your semi-dedicated plan as well. The Hepsia Control Panel will give you complete control over the platform and, with no more than a click, you will be able to delete the cached contents, to check a system log or to restart an instance.
Varnish in VPS Servers
You can take full advantage of the load balancing capabilities of Varnish with any of our Linux VPS servers in case you pick Hepsia as your Control Panel. The Varnish content caching platform comes by default and the amount of memory that it’ll be able to utilize to cache your website content is dependent on the specific VPS plan that you have selected, but even with the less powerful packages, you’ll have no less than several hundred megabytes of memory at your disposal solely for data caching purposes. This amount is sufficient enough to optimize the work of numerous sites. It’ll take some time for you to notice the results, since the Varnish platform caches the content that visitors access, but shortly after that you will notice the significantly less load on your virtual machine and the improved site load speed. The Varnish caching platform will allow you to use a less powerful plan for sites that would typically need a more costly web hosting solution.
Varnish in Dedicated Servers
If you need the most powerful web hosting solution and you obtain any of the dedicated servers offered by our company, you’ll be able to use the Varnish platform to enhance the work of your sites at no additional fee on the condition that the dedicated server is ordered with our avant-garde Hepsia Control Panel. Its easy-to-work-with GUI will permit you to keep track of platform processes, to delete the cached files or to restart any instance with one single click of the mouse. The minimal amount of system memory that the caching platform can use to cache content is three gigabytes, which is quite enough for a vast number of popular Internet sites, so your server will be able to deal with a gigantic system load while your visitors are having a smooth web browsing experience. Since your dedicated server will include a number of dedicated IPs, you’ll be able to make use of Varnish’s maximum capacity.
