An Operating System is the basic software that controls a computer system. It handles how the hardware operates, the communication with peripherals including a monitor, a printer or a keyboard, the allocation of memory between the installed applications, plus the prioritization of applications in case several run at the same time. Apart from being cost-free, the OSs are very stable and safe and the key reason to offer the three of them is to make sure that you will be able to run each application that you'd like, as different pieces of software could have different requirements in terms of the environment they work on. Each of the three OSs is backed by a vast community of developers who have generated a large number of software packages that you can install and use on your VPS. In accordance with the Operating System which you select, you will also be able to select between three different Control Panels to manage your web hosting content. Of course, if you decide that you need some other OS, we can always re-install the server with it. As an optional upgrade, we also provide weekly updates of the Operating System for max stability and security.

Multiple OS in Dedicated Servers

The dedicated servers we offer can be installed with as many as three different Operating Systems because we want to offer you more versatile packages which will allow you to install and run any web software regardless of its system requirements. Your options are CentOS, Debian and Ubuntu and these 3 OSs are among the most reliable and secure ones, not mentioning that they do not have any kind of license charges. All three have thousands of developers that have created numerous software packages that you can install and use on your web server. We also offer three web hosting Control Panels and which one you can use will depend on the Operating System that you choose when you register. In case you need a new OS subsequently, it will not be a problem because we can always reinstall your server. With our Managed Services package we can also keep your OS secure by updating it every week with any patches which are available for it.
